About Us

Conewango Valley, New York

Built new, meant to stay that way.

The Good As New is a furniture store at 5499 US-62 in Conewango Valley, New York. Despite the name, we don’t sell used furniture: we offer solid wood TV consoles, sideboards, vanities, coffee tables, desks, bookshelves, wine racks, benches and coat racks — built new to order and shipped free across the United States.

What good as new means to us

Most furniture looks its best the day it arrives. Solid hardwood is different: a scratch can be buffed out, a dull top can be re-oiled, and a tight joint stays tight.

So we build every piece new, in real hardwood, with finishes you can renew yourself — furniture that still looks good as new years from now.

What we build

Desks, coffee tables & side tables — desks with drawers, live-edge and sculpted coffee tables, side tables and dining tables.
TV consoles, sideboards & vanities — TV consoles and media cabinets, console tables, sideboards, bar cabinets and bathroom vanities.
Bookshelves, wine racks & wall shelves — tall and tree bookshelves, wine racks and stands, floating and bathroom shelves and mantel shelves.
Benches, coat racks, lamps & wall art — carved benches and chairs, tree coat racks, floor lamps, wall clocks and wall art.
